I'm a small town gal from Marble Falls, Texas who loves adventure. My greatest adventure yet has been finding my soulmate and building a family. Zack and I love to travel - we find fun in anything that we take part in. We have two children and two fur babies, and manage to stay very busy. I love my family, photography, showering until I run out of hot water, adventure, music, singing at the top of my lungs in the car, ROAD TRIPS, dancing and the list goes on!
I fell in love with photography 12 years ago, when I met my husband. I guess you can say he was my inspiration since he's so good looking! My camera really loves him. I studied photography through Photo Art Studio and Professional Photographers of America for 4 years, but what really taught me was getting out there and doing some hands-on work! I learned so much once I stepped out of the classroom and in to the real world, noticing all the enticing beauty life holds. It was one of the best decisions of my life! I get to do what I love, every day.
My passion is capturing special moments so they won't be forgotten. Sometimes the simplest of moments are the ones that leave us breathless. Life is built on those tiny little details which make us smile. Let me capture your moment of bliss! I would feel so honored if you would allow me to be a part of your special moment.
I’m originally from Dallas but I've lived all over the state of Texas. My family, including my beautiful wife, 2 crazy kids, 2 rescue mutts (that my wife seems to keep bringing home) have a home in the beautiful Texas Hill Country.
I've had the pleasure of capturing people during their happiest moments for over 7 years now. I've been trained through Photo Art Studio and I'm certified through Professional Photographers of America.
My wife and I have a passion for travel and learning about different cultures. I have a thirst for adventure and experiencing life to the fullest. In my free time I find myself trying new things. I LOVE food almost as much as my wife. I tend to quote my favorite movies on a regular basis. I enjoy being a family man and seeing my children grow and thrive. I also take pride in the way I look - health and fitness has always been a huge part of my life.
I stumbled into photography through my wife, who was always taking photos of me. I started to notice the lack of photos of my wife in family pictures. The moment I picked up this massive contraption, called a Nikon, I felt intrigued by the amazing technology that also seems to capture a timeless moment. I found myself looking at life differently, finding the beauty in such simple moments and the way the light shines through the trees, or the genuine emotion of my children playing (and actually being nice to each other for a few seconds). Now I have the privilege of not only being at our clients most important day, but also making new friends along the way. We get to capture the details that most people will forget with time, and put photos on the wall that make a house a home.
PS. If you me bring peanut butter cookies, you WILL receive a discount. (Just Kidding, I gotta take that one up with the boss.)
Similar to Amber, I’m also a small town girl from Marble Falls. From there I moved to Austin, which is where I met my husband. We both found out quickly that we shared a passion for travel. Just a short 3 months into dating we made our first trip to Sayulita, Mexico. After several trips back to the quaint beach town, Justin proposed and we knew that's where we would tie the knot. Little did we know we'd spend the first 3 years of our married life living there! After planning our own destination wedding, we saw need for planners in the area so we started a destination wedding business of our own. Before we knew it, we had helped numerous happy couples plan their dream wedding on the beautiful beaches of Mexico.
Surrounded by such a beautiful setting I found my true passion, which is photography. Combining this with my five years of wedding planning experience, I feel truly blessed to be a part of such a special day. Capturing once-in-a lifetime moments for our clients is exciting and rewarding. One of my favorite people to photograph is our little boy, Luke. Being a new Mom and photographer, his life will be well documented!
There are lots of ways to describe me - graphic designer, web developer, photographer, craftsman, hobbyist, traveler, surf enthusiast, son, brother, uncle, and husband, just to name a few! Perhaps the title I’m most proud of, however, is daddy. My beautiful wife, Katy, and I were blessed with a baby boy in July of 2015 and he’s quickly become the center of our universe.
Born and raised in Texas, I’m originally from the Houston area but I’ve since been a resident of San Antonio, Dallas, Horseshoe Bay, Mexico (more on that later), and now Austin. I was raised by two incredibly talented and creative parents and I’ve always had an eye for detail - perhaps I acquired it from my father who is one of the most talented artists I know. My education and professional background is in graphic design and web development, and I’ve been fortunate enough to work for some of the top digital agencies in Austin. I’ve learned that my design background has afforded me with many skills which lend themselves well to my photography work.
In 2008 my wife and I decided to fulfill a long-time dream of ours and moved to a small beach town in Mexico where we had previously vacationed a few times. When we weren’t dining on fresh seafood, exploring remote beaches, snorkeling, or surfing, we built a successful destination wedding business. Through the exercise of planning and coordinating over 100 weddings and events, we learned that our true passion was in the photography - capturing beautiful and unforgettable moments. It wasn’t long before we joined forces with Amber and Zach, and now we’re quenching our passion for photography at weddings here in Austin!
Everyone wants to capture the most important moments of their lives. Whether it's bringing a new life to the world, saying "I do" to your significant other, graduation, or even a simple family portrait... that's what I'm here for. I grew up in the hill country side of Texas. I loved exploring ever since I was about eight years old. I loved the wildlife so much, I wanted to keep those moments. I begged my mom to get me a camera. It was old and low quality, but it didn't matter. I thought I was the best photographer in the world haha. In my high school years though, my dad pushed me to go into the medical field. He thought that if I didn't do that, I wouldn't be successful later on. The problem was it didn't make me happy. Coming out of high school I didn't exactly know how to go about a career in photography. Having a sister that is already a successful photographer inspired me to take the further steps needed to take precious moments and make them last forever. While I could've just kept editing photos for her business I felt that I wanted to know more. I wanted to be the person behind the camera capturing those special moments. Over the course of two years, I shadowed and even enrolled in a photography class so that I knew what I was doing. But classes and shadowing can only teach you so much, each photographer has his or her own twist that makes their photographs unique. So, I took the foundation I was taught and started to add my own touch to them. For many people it can be uncomfortable posing for pictures and they often turn out slightly awkward and unnatural in a sense. My goal is to make you feel comfortable so I can catch the raw emotion, love, and connection that people have together. "Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever... it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything."
